What the spirit does Pt 8

Sermon by Rev. Julius A. Harper, Senior Pastor Santa Clarita Christian Fellowship Church

The Spirit bears witness with our spirit

Romans 8:16-17 (NKJV)
16  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
17  and if children, then heirs–heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Romans 8:16-17 (NLT)
16  For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.
17  And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.

May the Lord add a blessing to the reading and the hearing of HIS holy and mighty word.

Today we are going to be able to wrap up this mini-series within the teachings from the epistle written to the church at ROME. We are still in the overall series from ROMANS, but today we can complete the mini-series on the topic of what the Spirit does.

I pray that the word of God is blessing you, just as I am being tremendously blessed in the preparation, study and learning of the materials.

Your prayers have been and continue to be a source of great help to me and I want to ask you to continue to intercede on my behalf because the remaining materials I some ways are even more challenging.

In last our sermon, we talked at length about the fact that we have been adopted into the family of God and as believers you and I flow in the features and benefits of this relationship which is different and than the relationship that the Jews experienced under the law.

You are I were adopted, say that word; we were chosen by God as his unique and treasured possessions and he formed a relationship with us, not because of our physical heritage and not on the basis of the law, but rather God made a choice to embrace us as HIS sons and daughters, through faith in Jesus Christ.

We talked about the how the Spirit adopts the believer by delivering him or her from the Spirit of bondage and fear and we also celebrated that we no longer have to be afraid of being separated from him.

Romans 8:39 (NLT) said…
39  No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We also talked about how the Spirit gives the believer a consciousness of adoption, noting that through the Spirit of God the believer receives a sense of his positional status.

And then we rejoiced in the reality of the access we have into the presence of God; access made possible by the indwelling presence of the HOLY Spirit who rest upon and resides in the life of the child of God.

More details are available on-line in our sermon archives at http://www.mysccf.com/sermons.

Today we are going to be looking at how the Spirit bears witness with our spirit.

I gave you two translations of our main passage because I like the language on the New Living Translation that uses the term “joins with our spirit” and that joining if you please speaks to an affirmation, that we are indeed God’s children.

Let’s look together at these four truths as noted in the letter.

The Spirit joins with our spirit and affirms that we are the sons of God by….

  1. Providing a testimony in our spirit.

Romans 8:16a (NKJV)
16  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit..

Romans 8:16 (NIV)

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

2 Corinthians 1:22 (NLT)
22  and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us.

Acts 5:32 (NKJV)
32  And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

The presence of the Spirit quickens our spirit with the consciousness of………. or a testimony of our relationship with God as sons.

In our last sermon, we touched upon the idea of what happens in the mind of the child of God, when he or she is born again and forgiven of their sins.

We talked about how the Spirit gives the believer a consciousness of adoption.

What I shared with you and most of you can attest to the reality of this,…watch is… that there is a recognition “post conversion if you please “ that something has changed and you can recognize it in your heart and mind.

The weight of condemnation has been lifted, you feel as if something has been loosed off you and there is a palp-able texture to that.

Thought:

When a person first get saved and at the point of conversion when it hits the recipient between the eyes and the reality of what God has done for you starts to sink in, very often the person is filled with emotion.

When you are set free and you come to understand that you have been brought into this place of underserved privilege…there is an awakening of your mental consciousness.

Here what we are talking about in this first point today is a transaction of communication directly between YOUR spirit and the SPIRIT of God.

Your intellect is not involved, but rather it is SPRIT to spirit and He testifies and communicates as an on-going work of his indwelling presence, that YOU are BORN OF GOD.

The Spirit of God communicates with your SPIRIT, the conscious and the knowledge of our Son-ship, which moves us cry….. Abba Father.

God has placed the Spirit of God in our hearts as a witness that we are SONS…….. and of course we know that a witness is able to testify.

Romans 8:16 (NIV)

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

Thought:

Now when I first began to processes this teaching I was like….WOW now I get it.

I can tell you personally that I know that I am a child of God, but in fact I can’t really explain it in terms of how I actually know that I know and would continue to know that I am a child of God no matter what you told me or what you said.

But then I learned that I know, that I know, what I know, not because of what is communicated here (my head) but I know that I know what I know here in my Spirit and thank God that this isn’t a head thing because that is where the war-fare is going on and it’s where the enemy often operates.

It’s SPIRIT TO SPIRIT..say that…

We know that the Spirit joins with our Spirit, because of the love of God registers as a knowledge that is beyond intellect and feeling, but rather it is a knowledge of the love of God that registers with us….SPIRITUALLY.

His Spirit bears witness with our spirit……..

The Spirit joins with our spirit and affirms that we are the sons of God by….

  1. Ratifying our position as heirs.

Romans 8:16-17a (NKJV)
16  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
17  and if children, then heirs–heirs of God…

Titus 3:7 (NKJV)
7  that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

1 Peter 3:7 (NKJV)
7  Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.

Ephesians 1:18 (NKJV)
18  the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

Colossians 1:12-13 (NKJV)
12  giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
13  He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

In point number one we talked about the communication that occurs Spirit to spirit, wherein the Holy Spirit enables a consciousness in our spirits that there now exists a filial relationship between the believer and God.

Here we want to delve into the concept of becoming an “heir” of God.

The Spirit joins with our spirit and validates that we are the sons of God who have the blessings of the father, because of the relationship that was established through faith and confirmed by the indwelling presence of the Spirit.

Thought:

Now for purposes of our discussion I am going to use a word that I found in one of the commentaries and it seemed like it was a made up word when I first read it, but I was able to confirm that is a bona fide legal term.

The word I am going to use here is “HEIR-SHIP”, Think of the word SON-SHIP, but instead we are using the word “Heir-ship”

Now in the passage from Romans chapter 8:17a where it says 17  and if children, then heirs–heirs of God

NOTICE THE SLIDE and please forgive me, as a butcher up the pronouncement but you’ll get it.

The GREEK word used for children (Son) here is TEKNA.

This can be used to describe a child or son, but the word also communicates the idea of a relationship formed and or defined by the bonds of love.

The term TEKNA might be used to describe a joining of two individuals which was so close that the person was like a SON to you, but physicality wasn’t what made him a son, it was relationship.

HOUIS, is a word that also describes a child or SON, but it is a word that speaks of a relationship through physical connection.

Think of it like this…

My Son is an heir of mine because of the physical connection. He comes into his HEIR-SHIP because he was born as a result of my seed.

TEKNA could be used to describe a SON or child who comes into heir-ship, through relationship.

The thought here is that our heir-ship is from relationship rather than a physical connection.

We are not heirs, because we have Jewish parents. We are not heirs, because of what we have done, in terms of following the law, but we are heirs, because we

have become his Children (TEKNA) through the relationship that was established because of faith in Jesus Christ.

We are heirs and our position as heirs of God brings us into the reality of some truly incredible blessing that we obtain from God.

Thought:

1st Peter 3:7 spoke of the spoke of our being heirs of the Grace of Life, which means that as believers we have been given access to God’s divine gifts.

Titus 3:7, spoke of the fact that we are heirs of eternal life, this of course is the most incredible and wonderful inheritance of all.

Our inheritance all ties into the work of God and the love of God, who worked through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, so that we could be positioned for relationship with God.

Thought:

Again I understand that you like me, may have a hard time trying to wrap your head around these things….for me it literally makes my mind spin, to think about how God himself orchestrated and worked this plan out for our good.

It makes my head spin to think about the fact God wanted to have a relationship with us so much that he had to take care of all of the problems that would stand in our way, in order to make that a possibility.

He had to deal with the sin problem of man, so he sent Jesus HIS son.

He had to extend his undeserved grace towards us, so that we could be justified in his sight and declared righteous, because without a right standing before him, we could not have access to a relationship with him nor could we ever enter into the blessing of eternal life.

The Holy Spirit bears witness that we are the heirs of God and the evidence of our HEIR-SHIP is that we have obtained eternal life, through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross that secured salvation for us.

We are heirs of eternal life, we are heirs of the grace of God AND Ephesians 1:18 says that we are heirs of his glory.

I like how Colossians 1:12 records this, where it says that God the father has made us qualified to be the partakers of the inheritance of the saints, having delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom.

Thought:

Not only are we heirs of God’s grace, but we have been qualified by God himself and will be conveyed into HIS kingdom to share in HIS glory.

Think about this and try to picture this in your mind if possible…

We as children of GOD, are going to be there in heaven, sharing in the brightness of his glory, sharing in the radiance of his goodness, as his beloved and blood bought possessions whom he will put on display for all of heaven to see, cleansed and made clean, having been redeemed and washed in the blood of the lamb.

All of heaven is gathered to see this incredible display of HIS grace.

All of the heavenly beings and Angeles are flying through heaven; the songs of praise are shaking the house as they cry HOLY, HOLY Lord God almighty, the lamb of God is seated on the throne of God and the brightness of God’s glory is so luminescent, that they don’t need any Sun shine up there, for the glory of God himself lights the place up 24-7 and there in the midst of this incredible splendor, are the SONS and daughters of God, shining like the face of Moses shined, with the very glory of God.

A shining Cecile, and Shining John, HUMAN beings who have no business being in heaven on their own, it will surely be a sight to see.

You and I as his heirs have been position for this incredible demonstration of God’s love and grace; not for our glory for God’s Glory.

The Spirit joins with our spirit and affirms that we are the sons of God by….

  1. Validating our standing as fellow-heirs with Christ.

Romans 8:16-17a-c (NKJV)
16  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
17  and if children, then heirs–heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ,

John 1:1-2 (NKJV)
1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2  He was in the beginning with God.

1 Corinthians 15:52 (YLT)
52  in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, in the last trumpet, for it shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we–we shall be changed:

Philippians 3:21a (NLT)
21  He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own,

Now this third point could have been combined with the 2nd, but to really get the meaning and the blessing of this, we need to talk about the concept of……. and the blessing of being fellow heirs with Christ.

Thought:

We are Te-KNA a Son or child who comes into heir-ship, through relationship.

But Jesus is God’s only begotten SON.

He is God’s seed.

He was born through the portal of human flesh HE came into the world as a human physically through his mother, but spiritually, but he is the word and he existed from the beginning, as noted in John 1:1

The bible says that we fellow heirs with Christ and the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit validates our standing as joint heirs with Christ.

Thought:

You and I as we learned earlier were adopted and added to the family of God by faith and we have come into this place of underserved favor, by faith.

Joint heirs with Christ.

Joint heirs with the only begotten of the father.

Thought:

Try to understand and embrace that with the reality, with the wretchedness that Paul spoke about concerning the struggle in him self and the wretchedness that you and I know to be a constant factor in this FLESH in which we live and breathe and walk each and every day.

Think about how this stretches your mind to the point of not being able to fathom it, because of your own unworthiness.

That God would allow HUMANS to share in some the things that Christ himself will receive is too much to process, but it’s true.

But we are told in 1st Corinthians chapter 15:52 that we shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye.

Our bodies will be replaced with glorious bodies, just like Christ has.

Philippians 3:21 said that “He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own.

We will become fellow heirs by position, just as our Christ Jesus the Lord is sovereign ruler over all things we shall be positioned as kings and high priest.

1st Peter 2:9 says that we are a chosen people, a royal priesthood called forth the show the praises of him who has called us out of darkness and into HIS marvelous light.

Revelation chapter 5:10 says that we will become a kingdom of priest for our God and we will reign on the earth.

As Christ rules and reigns eternal, we as joint-heirs will be placed in positions of responsibility and authority.

I know it is hard to process and imagine this reality, as we struggle here in the day-to-day weakness of the FLESH, but the scriptures says eyes have not seen, nor ear heard, neither has entered into the heart of man, the things that God has prepared for those who love him.

And that includes you and me, who struggle here today with our broken minds and bodies; we cannot see it now we shall be changed.

The Spirit joins with our spirit and affirms that we are the sons of God by….

4th and finally by…..

  1. Confirming that we will suffer with him but we shall be ultimately be glorified.

Romans 8:16-17 (NKJV)
16  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
17  and if children, then heirs–heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Romans 8:17c (NLT)
17c   But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.

2 Timothy 2:11-12a-b (NLT)
11  This is a trustworthy saying: If we die with him, we will also live with him.
12  If we endure hardship, we will reign with him.

It seems like this 4th and final point may be somewhat of a downer, because it speaks about suffering and truth be told, we often don’t want to identify with that.

However as a child of God, your relationship with Christ and his glory is also tied into the reality that you will suffer as a Christian in the cause of God and his righteous kingdom.

You see all of the glorious realities we shouted and praised God for, are indeed going to be a fully realized for each of us when we get to heaven, but the blessing of the glory comes with a sharing in the suffering.

“ If we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering”

If we died with him (and all believers died with Christ) we shall also live with him in glory and if we endure suffering we shall also reign with him.

Thought:

Now to the believer who is under the sound of my voice here today and who is struggling with some trial or issue or challenge, I am here today to tell you that the Spirit of God bares witness with your spirit that ultimately you will be a conqueror.

The Christian walk and the Christian lifestyle is not a life of all high five’s and good time blessings where everything you touch turns to gold and you everything in your life comes up seven or eleven.

If you are a child of God and you are suffering, the spirit of God is encouraging your spirit and the word of God is sent for your today, to encourage you to know and believe and embrace the reality that you are experiencing a suffering that will one day be revealed as a work of God’s glory in your life.

Thought:

In the time and day that this letter was written, Christians were really going through a lot of suffering and pain in their lives.

They were being hated for the name of Jesus; they had left lands and houses for the name of Jesus and so Paul writes this to encourage them as they suffered.

You may be suffering and struggling through something painful in your life.

Some relationship may have been lost because of the commitment you made to Christ.

You may have been passed over because you would not compromise your Christianity.

You may be struggling under the stress and strain of trying to raise a child today in this world.

That child is fighting you and the world is that if fighting your best efforts to keep that child on the right path but be encouraged even in the midst of that pain, for the bible says in 2nd Timothy chapter 2 verse 12, that if we suffer, we shall also reign with him.

I am here to tell you that after that you’ve suffered a while, God is going to make you perfect, God is going establish, strengthen and settle you.

On the other side of the tough times, will be glory, joy and peace beyond your wildest imagination.

This is a word child of God for you.

AMEN.

CLOSE:

Today we’ve touched upon and talked about some really exciting realities that are at work in the life of the child of God who is blessed and benefited by the presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

It is a joy and privilege to learn about all these positive things, but of course I am aware that under the sound of my voice today, there may be those outside of the family of God; those suffering under the stress and strains of this life.

I want you to know my friend that God loves you, in fact he loved you so much that he sent Jesus his only SON to die for the sins of man kind and that includes you.

God knows that this world is completely jacked up, that men are suffering and that people are dying and going to a HELL he did not create for them, but they chose it for themselves.

John 3:16 said that God so loved the world that he gave his only SON. He gave him to die on the cross as a punishment that he didn’t deserve, but rather he died and took what we deserved.

The bible says that the wages of sin is death. That it what we all earned through our rebellion and hard-headed stubbornness. That is the reason why we suffer and

why this world is jacked…and what is worse is that without Christ we die and end up suffering the wages of sin, eternally.

The only solution to this unsolvable problem is repenting of our sins and surrendering our lives to Jesus Christ, that is how you get born again, that is how you come into the family of God and become and heir of his promises and blessings.

What the Spirt does Pt 7

Sermon by Rev. Julius A. Harper Senior Pastor Santa Clarita Christian Fellowship Church.

The Spirit adopts the believer

Romans 8:15 (NKJV)
15  For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

May the Lord add a blessing to the reading and the hearing of HIS holy and mighty word.

We are at lesson number seven in our mini-series taken from the letter to the church at ROME and again I am really excited to share this word with you today, as we look at the blessings of the Sprit, noting specifically the blessing associated with being adopted.

The Spirit of God does so much in the life of the believer that the knowledge of the blessings we have almost takes your breath away.

In our last sermon, we talked about how the Spirit leads the believer and there were three points to that sermon that were just dynamite.

We learned in our last study that the Sprit leads the believer by walking along side of him, as a comforter, or helper.

Every single person in this room is either going through, has gone through or will go through some tough time or challenge in life and as you are going through that, the Spirit will come along side you and carry you through it.

The word that we used to describe what the Spirit does was Parakletos, which communicates the idea of coming to one’s aide or to console. The Sprit is there to remind you of the Father’s love and help you along the way; he doesn’t take you out of the situation sometimes but rather, he helps you through it.

We learned also that the Spirit guides the believer in the path of truth and righteousness by moving along in advance of where the believer is going to make sure that the believer is on the right path. He’ll speak to you, he will remind you of God’s word. He will speak to you concerning what he’s heard and what he knows, so that you will be equipped with the information you need, to avoid what may be problematic in your life in terms of choices regarding friends, career, marriage, in fact he will guide you by communicating what he has heard and knows.

And then finally we learned, that the Spirit works in harmony with the Father to bring the believer to a destined end. The Spirit works with God to make sure that all things are working together towards the goal of you and I as believers, being with our God in heaven in glory.

Today we are going to talk about the concept of Adoption. SAY THAT WORD Adoption.

The Spirit helps the believer by allowing him or helping the child of God to flow in the features and benefits of Adoption.

Now this word adoption is a very interesting term, which is related to the reality that a child who is adopted is taken by choice; this idea of adoption by the way is used to compare and contrast our relationship as believers with God, versus the relationship that Israel had with the law.

If you were born as a Hebrew, you were born under the law that was their relationship under the old agreement.

But the child of God, through faith comes into a relationship with God, through Grace, where by we were adopted, we were chosen, not on the basis of our physical heritage and not on the basis of the law, but on the basis of being taken by God himself as a choice he made to embrace us as Sons, through faith in Jesus Christ.

Here the teaching today focuses on HOW the Spirit adopts the believer and there are four points that we will address.

The Spirit adopts the believer by……

  1. Delivering the believer from the Spirit of bondage and fear.

Romans 8:15a-b (NKJV)
15  For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear…

Galatians 4:4-5a-b (NLT)
4  But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law.
5  God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law..

Galatians 5:14-15c (Berean Study Bible)

14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

15 For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you

received the Spirit of Sonship,

Romans 8:39 (NLT)
39  No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Spirit adopts the believer by delivering him from the spirit of bondage and fear.

I touched upon this briefly when I mentioned the difference that Israel had with God through the law versus the relationship that we have with God, which is based on faith.

Thought:

Whether you want to admit it or not, man is gripped by a spirit of fear and this is particularly descriptive in the life of the unsaved person.

No matter how much money a person may have, no matter how well they project confidence and cool, most people are at some level or another are gripped or preoccupied with some kind of fear.

Now you might not recognize the problem as fear but you might recognize it, if we put another label on it.

Call it anxiety, call it stress. call it apprehension, worry, uncertainty, call it a lack of restfulness, distress, a feeling of being under threat whether real or imagined.

Call it dismay, call it a feeling of foreboding, insecurity, trepidation, phobia, feeling vulnerable; it is a fear that often plagues you at a level you do not understand.

This fear is something that everyone is familiar with and most people are enslaved and held in bondage to it.

BUT when the Spirit comes into the life of a child of God, HE delivers him from the spirit of fear because as SONS we are free.

  • We are free from the feeling of needing to be perfect.
  • We are free from the feeling of being alone and on our own..
  • We are free from fear of what happens when we can’t keep the law.

Thought:

Under the old covenant of the Mosaic law, the law was the operative mechanism that defined where you stood with God.

And because of that reality you were always and rightfully so, fearful of failing to measure up.

If you did 85 things right and messed up on law 86 it was just the same as if you messed up the entire thing.

The law was always present as a constant reminder that you need to be afraid.

This is how it was and how it is, for everyone who is under the law.

When the Spirit comes into the life of a child of God who places his faith and trust in Jesus Christ as Lord, God delivers him from the Spirit of fear because as SONS we are free.

We are free from the fear of being unable to keep the law…

We also are free from the fear of loosing our salvation.

I used the New Living Translation, because I felt that the verbiage was most powerful and clear and I quote..

“No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord”

Thought:

Hell itself can be breaking all around the child of God, but the Spirit of God and his presence, brings a peace in the life of the believer that passes all understanding.

And with his presence, comes a knowledge and an assurance that even the vastness of space and the over-whelming reality of the powers of hell and the devil himself, that nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God.

When you need him the most, the HOLY Spirit will speak to you and comfort you in a way that will remind you in no-un-certain terms that you are a SON or daughter of God.

And as an adopted CHILD who has been chosen by God himself, no weapon formed against you will prosper.

As a SON he’s working ALL things together for the good of those whom he has chosen as his own.

And you as a SON will see that things when it comes down to the final count, will be revealed as having worked together for the good, for those who are the called, according to HIS purpose.

Thought:

Some of you here today are living in fear at this very moment. You look cool on the outside, but on the inside you are a wobbling mess.

Nothing that you’ve place your faith in has worked.

Everything is going crazy and your life is turned upside down.

Fear dominates and controls your very being.

When I talked about fear earlier, even mentioning the word and talking about it, made your stomach ache and it is all you can do to keep yourself from getting up and running towards the door, or changing the channel.

To you my friend, I offer you HOPE in Jesus Christ and the very God of salvation, who wants to deliver you from the bondage of the living prison you are in and to come into your life and sup with you, replacing the reality of the suffering that defines your life, with a peace and blessing that only comes from him, a peace that comes from being chosen and adopted into the God’s family, through faith in Jesus Christ.

You don’t have to live bound in the Spirit of fear my unsaved friend, but through Christ Jesus, you can come into the peace that God brings when he adopts you into his family.

The Spirit adopts the believer by……

  1. Giving the believer a consciousness of adoption.

Romans 8:15a-c (NKJV)
15  For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption.

Romans 5:1-2a-b (NLT)
1  Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
2  Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand

Matthew 7:11 (NKJV)
11  If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

Here in this second point we want explore a term noted as “the Spirit of adoption”

For our purposes we can boil this down into the idea of a consciousness of adoption. Dictionary.com defines consciousness as an awareness of something and or the activity of the mind.

The word is further defined as a sense of one’s identity in terms of one belonging to a group.

Through the Spirit of God the believer actually receives a sense of his positional status, an awareness if you please, that he actually is a Son of God

In other words when God accepts and brings the person into the family of forgiven believers, there comes with the indwelling presence of the Spirit recognition that something about you is different.

When God saves you, you recognize in yourself that something has changed.

You feel like a SON. You sense within yourself that God is with you and that a shift in your status has occurred.

You sense within yourself a lifting of the weight of conviction and guilt.

You sense within yourself, that you can now and without limits, call upon God and that your Father God will hear you.

Thought:

Those of you who have been involved with altar work and or been with someone when they received the Lord can attest to something that occurs within the newly converted person.

There is a lifting if you please, that is more than just emotion, but there is a clear sense that one is no longer at war with God and fearful of God, but rather, there is a lifting and a feeling of the weight and guilt that comes off you the person, who previous was burdened by the weight and guilt and bondage of fear.

The feeling and consciousness of God’s LOVE and not his anger, is an awareness of freedom, rather than slavery.

Romans chapter 5 verse 1 had the perfect description for this, when it said and I quote “Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God” verse 2 and here I’ve just selected a small portion says “because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege”

The Spirit gives you a sense of this, now it changes your outlook on life, now you know that you have been chosen.

This is a blessing to which we must be excited and always celebrating…

God did not have to do it, but he elected YOU.

He saw you and wanted YOU before you before you were ever born.

He predestined you. He had your name written on his heart before you were formed within your mother’s womb and then he called you to be his own.

And that consciousness and awareness, yes even that confidence if you please, becomes more real and more dynamic in your life as you walk with him and lean on him day-by-day.

You start to get bold. You start to actually flow in the reality of your son-ship and the privileges associate with it.

You start to understand, that you can come to your Father with your request at any time, just like a SON.

You see my SON can call us on the phone at anytime. It’s not too late or too early, he can just dial us up and he doesn’t have to make an appointment, because he is a SON.

This is who you are….You are his Son.

You are his beloved child, adopted thought you may be, YOU have the confidence that he’ll respond to you with the same tender loving care, that he would to his natural born children.

You are HIS Son. So you know that if you ask for bread, your father will not give you a stone or if you ask for a fish, he won’t give you a serpent, but your father in heaven knows how to give good gifts to the SON that asks.

Thought:

When I think of this incredible reality and the blessing of having been brought into this place of underserved privilege, it blows my mind.

It’s more than I can process, that when I think of the goodness of Jesus and all that he’s done for me, MY SOUL cries out hallelujah, praise GOD for saving me.

The Spirit adopts the believer by……

  1. Giving the believer access into God’s presence.

Ephesians 2:18 (NKJV)
18  For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

Ephesians 2:18 (NLT)
18  Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us.

Ephesians 3:12 (NKJV)
12  in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.

Hebrews 10:19 (YLT)
19  Having, therefore, brethren, boldness for the entrance into the holy places, in the blood of Jesus,

For additional insights and perspective on this third point I am thankful for access to Ellicott’s commentary for English readers.

One of the ideas that was communicated to me in that reading revolved around the simple concept of “introduction”

The word access is a word, which is more properly translated as “ the introduction”.

The thought being, that we have been given the proper introduction into the presence of the Father, by the same Spirit of Christ who bought and will bring us safely home into the presence of God.

You’ll find this thought being used in 1st Peter 3:18 where Peter speaks of the work of Christ Jesus who suffered for the sins of the unjust, that he might bring us to God.

Thought:

In ancient times if a person was going to come before a royal ruler, he or she would receive access or be brought into the presence of the ruler by reason of the introduction, because if that person walked into the presence of the king without having gained entry through the appropriate mechanism of introduction, he or she would not be accepted and indeed might be imprisoned or killed.

In point number two the focus was upon the Spirit’s presence and the sense of awareness of SONSHIP that the child of God would have within himself as more of a consciousness of or mental/mind thing.

Here we are talking about the Spiritual realm and the very throne room of God Almighty in HEAVEN.

This is where God resides, this is a HOLY place and so to enter in here, you have to make sure that you have the proper credentials.

The Spirit of God makes it possible for you and I to come to the throne room at anytime and to approach the Father at any time and to cry out Father, Father help me.

And because you have the Spirit of Adoption, God recognizes your credentials.

It’s all done by the same Spirit.

The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead is the same Spirit that rest upon and resides in the life of the child of God.

You as a SON have that same Spirit; and therefore because you have the Spirit of God, when you come to God, you are immediately recognized and welcomed into the throne room, as one who HAS the appropriate credentials therefore has full access.

Thought:

This is almost too wonderful for me to process in light of what I know about myself.

Don’t get fooled because I wear a preachers robe..because like Paul, I tell you my friends that in my FLESH dwells no good thing.

I understand the details of the grace of God but it is still too much for me to process and you may feel this way too……..,

But then I think about the goodness of Jesus Christ and the power of his shed blood on the cross.

I think about the scripture that declares that when we were without strength, Christ died for me and he died for you, while we were yet sinners and he chose us, not for our goodness, but simply as a demonstration of his awesome grace.

When God sees faith in your heart for JESUS his SON he seals you and fills you with HIS Holy Spirit, so that you immediately are credentialed up to enter into his presence and to have all of the features and benefits of Son ship.

The Spirit adopts the believer 4th and finally by……

  1. Making him/her a part of God’s church family.

Ephesians 2:21-22 (NKJV)
21  in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,
22  in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

In this final point, we are looking at a scripture that compares the church to a building.

The church is founded on the completed work of Christ and faith in his work on the cross, when he suffered bled and died for the sins of man.

We are adopted into the Spiritual family of God by God and then we are joined together as a response of God to our faith in Jesus Christ as the called out ones who form a dwelling place for God.

This of course only makes sense when become a part his family, for the family of God and the children of God have a common father.

Thought:

To be a part of God’s church is something incredibly special.

Now mind you that I am not talking about being a member of a local church in terms of having your name on the church rolls.

Those things are wonderful blessings for sure, but that is not what we are talking about here, what we are talking about is an absolutely amazing joining together, in which a group of people become a dwelling place where God resides in the spiritual building made not with hands, but made and by the power and love of God working through and living in people.

I really like that visual picture that the words from Ephesians 2:21 paints here of being a building that is fitly framed together.

That means that the Spirit of Almighty God is organizing and orchestrating our lives towards a master plan that is designed to bring glory and praise to God.

That means that he is working and works on our becoming something that is more than the individual parts of the body, blessed as they may be.

That means that he is making us HOLY.

That means that he is making is SEPARATE.

That means that to him we are UNIQUE and special; a house that he has purposed and planned as a building not just to honor him, but to become a habitation, for HIS presence.

In other words. we who where NOT a people, have now been chosen to be HIS people and the objects of his unlimited love and mercy.

We who were outside of the family of God and lost in sin without hope, have been grafted into the family of God.

We who didn’t and do not deserve it; are now HIS church.

And for that blessing, We…. should forever be happy to be a member of God’s family.

We…. should forever be grateful for the honor of such a calling

And we should be mindful and moved with great concern and compassion for every unsaved person in this world who does not know this blessedness.

To you who may be here today listening to this message and on the outside looking in, we want you to know that God cares about you.

The person standing here at this lectern today or seated next to you wasn’t born into the family of God. We were once on the outside of his blessings too.

But one day, someone shared the good news of salvation and we believed God’s word and placed our faith in his precious SON Jesus….and that is how we got adopted.

What about you?

Do you know Jesus as Lord of your life? ?

Do you know that God so loved the world that he gave his only SON Jesus to die for us and pay the price of our sinful rebellion?

Romans 6:23 tells us that there is a wage that must be paid for sin.

There is a price for rebellion and impendence and sinful living.

And every man will suffer eternal death as a consequence of sin, unless someone pays the price for him.

That is what Jesus did, he paid the wage with the giving of his own life and blood on the cross at Calvary, but to come into the benefit of that, you must repent of your sins and give your heart and life to Christ.

That is how you come into the family, you believe in your heart that Jesus died and rose again from the grave and you accept HIM as LORD and savior of your life.

And when that happens, God adopts you into his family.

It happened that way for me, it happened that way for us and it can happen today for you.

While all eyes are closed and Christians are praying…..

What the Spirit does Pt 6

Sermon by Rev. Julius A. Harper, Senior Pastor Santa Clarita Christian Fellowship

The Spirit leads the believer

Romans 8:14 (NKJV)
14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

May the Lord add a blessing to the reading and the hearing of HIS holy word.

It’s been quite some time since we were last here together in the Epistle written to the church at ROME.

This letter has been one in which we’ve camped here for quite some time, particularly within the context of the mini-series we started before the summer break, looking at what Paul teaches us about the Spirit and what the SPRIRIT does in the life of a believing child of God.

We’ve learned previously that the Spirit gives life. We learned about the indwelling presence of the Spirit of God and how the Spirit operates in the realm of the mind. Then there was a very exciting teaching having to do with how the Spirit gives life and will give quickening life to the believer on that great day, when the same Spirit that raised up Jesus Christ from the dead, will also quicken our mortal bodies and we will changed.

The lessons were also very practical too, dealing with the issue of the warfare that goes on in our lives, where as a child of God you have to deal with the push-and-pull forces that war within you where the flesh lusts against the Spirit and the Spirit pushes against the flesh.

Again I want to remind you that you can access the resources that are available on the sermon blog, which has the notes from previous sermons, or you can log into the sermons on our you-tube channel or on our streaming service called KSCCCF radio.

Today we are returning to our studies from the epistle written to the church at ROME in lesson 6 looking at just one verse from Chapter eight.

And the subject is really quite straightforward. The scripture we read together says “for as many as are LED by the Spirit of God, these are the Sons of God.

One verse.

One declaration from God’s word that we want to understand and embrace.

Now the purpose of this teaching is to help us to gain a better understanding of the value of being led by the Spirit.

This is one of the features and benefits that you as a child of God must embrace; this is a key component of God’s Spirit living within you; and if you yield to the presence of God’s Spirit, the things that the Spirit will lead you into and or the course of his leading if we could re-word the thought this way, provides proof or evidence, that a person truly IS a Son or daughter of God.

The main idea that we will be talking about today involves the idea of leading or being led and what the Spirit actually does, as noted in this teaching.

Now child of God, as we are walking through this subject, brothers and Sisters I want you to challenge yourself.

Now make sure that you understand that this is NOT about challenging your salvation; it is about learning, it’s about looking at yourself critically, to determine areas in your life, in which the Spirit may in fact be leading you; or to be open to the challenge that there may be some areas in your life, in which the Spirit’s desire is being frustrated because you are not open to his leading.

Let me repeat that one more time.

Make sure that you understand that this is NOT about challenging your salvation; it is about learning, it’s about looking at yourself critically, to determine areas in your life, in which the Spirit may in fact be leading you; or to be open to the challenge that there may be some areas in your life, in which the Spirit’s desire is being frustrated because you are not open to his leading.

AMEN.

So let’s get started today with these three points.

Three ways in which the Spirit leads the believer.

The Spirit leads the believer by….

  1. Walking along side of him, through the trials of life as a comforter (advocate)

John 14:26 (NLT)
26  But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.

John 14:26 (KJV)
26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 14:16 (NKJV)
16  And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever–

John 16:7 (NLT)
7  But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you.

In this first point we want to explore and develop our thoughts on the first idea that is related to the concept or notion of being carried along through the trials of life.

There are several ideas that are used in the Greek language for the word “A-GO” which is related to the concept of being led or to lead.

For the child of God, the first thing we want to understand and embrace is the work and ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives, as one who walks along and bares us up and carries us along, through the trails and the struggles we have in this life.

The Holy Spirit Helps you by walking along side of you, and barring you up as you go through struggles in this life.

Now I believe that I just surprised and shocked some folks who were thrown off a bit because I said that the Christian walk is a struggle….and that my friends is a reality.

At the time of conversion when God accepted you and sealed you, the HOLY Spirit tabernacled within you.

We are not talking about some spooky kind of possession or anything like that, no what we are talking about is a unique and blessed reality in which the Spirit of God, came to LIVE within you and became a part of your life, as an indwelling companion who takes up permanent residence.

So now when you go to the VONS supermarket, or when you take a trip down to WALMART the Holy Spirit who is given as a gift from God, goes with you.

He is present and he is in you as his tabernacle, to be with you, not just as a silent add-on or an accessory without purpose, but rather the Spirit is sent into your life to be with you and to help you by providing comfort as you walk through the realities and or struggles of this Life.

Thought:

Somewhere along the line some one told us that being a Christian meant that all of our bills would be paid up and all of our problems would go away and that life would be a bowl of chocolates, but that is wrong; for life as a human being involves struggles, life as a human being involves problems, life as a human being involves trials; it is part of the human condition.

But for the Christian, there is a different reality.

Yes, you are living walking and struggling just like other people.

YES, you are dealing with the realities of the flesh and temptation.

But you child of God, as you are walking, have something different, because the HOLY SPIRIT is walking with you as a comforter, who stays right there beside you, no matter what you go through, whether good or bad.

And this is a reality that we want to understand, this is a reality that we want to appreciate and this is a question that we want to ask ourselves and challenge ourselves as to whether or not this is real in our own lives.

Thought:

Every single person in this room is either going through, has gone through or will go through some tough times and or trials in life.

Someone that you love is going to die. Sickness may come to someone you know or to yourself, I am not projecting or prophesying anything and you might live in this world and never get a cold or a sneeze; but something will come.

A disappointment; an unexpected disaster; a failing of the flesh, something of the corruptive nature of planet earth will touch the life someone somewhere along the way and as a child of God, the presence of the Spirit of God should evidence itself, not by taking you out of the situation, but rather by making HIS presence known in an especially tangible and measurable way as you are in the midst of walking and living and suffering through the thing, whatever it is, so that in it, you can see and know that the Spirit of God is working in your life.

You are a SON of God and you are led and or carried along by the Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is there as an advocate, when you need to be defended; when you need someone to be in your corner, when you need a counselor when you need advice, direction or to be consoled, the Holy Spirit is there.

The Greek uses the word Parakletos, which is related to the idea of coming to one’s aide, to console, to remind you of the Father’s love and to help you, by bringing to your remebrance, what God’s word has said concerning you.

I told you in the opening of the sermon, that I wanted you to think about yourself and to inventory your Spiritual life, not with the idea of your salvation in mind, but with the idea of examining yourself as to the reality or lack thereof of the presence of God, evidencing itself in the ministry of the comfort and or advocacy of the Spirit, in those trials we have or those trials we are going through.

When you go through tough times and trials the presence of the Spirit of God as one who is leading and guiding you through that thing ought to be especially apparent and noticeable by you

His job, when you are dealing with something that rocks your world, is to bear you up in the midst of that thing and to come along side you to help you get through it.

If I opened the microphone I have no doubt that someone here today could and would testify of the blessing and presence to the comforting Spirit of God, being manifested in a very special way that was like no other time in your life.

When you look back at what you’ve gone through, you can see the work of the Spirit as real in your life.

He stayed with you and you could feel his presence; when everyone else got tired and stopped calling, he never left, but as God promised, he stayed with you forever.

That is how it should be for the child of God, who knows this reality in his or her life, but I am also aware of a different experience for some folks…

Thought:

Someone may be thinking but not wiling to raise his or her hand and say might say Pastor Harper, that sounds good but when I was going through YOU CAN FILL IN THE BLANK, that wasn’t my experience.

I heard nothing. I got no comfort. I had no peace.

In fact I never felt more alone and abandoned by God in all my life and that is how I feel right now.

My friend I could pretend that I had an answer for you that will be gentle and make you feel better but I don’t think that such a response would be honorable.

The truth is that sometimes we have ignored God’s voice and leading for so long that the Spirit goes quiet and that reality is posited not as an accusation but as an observation, that speaks to the reality that we must work hard at listening to and being attentive to the Spirit of God in good times and bad.

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and made him Lord of your life, the promise of the Spirit’s presence is to you as a believer. He said I would never leave you or forsake you.

Sometimes we don’t hear or feel God’s presence as a comforter because we only have a conversation and or become attuned to hearing the voice of God and or seeking his guidance in times of need….or in those time when we think we need him, now that we’ve run out of answers…

The Spirit of God is present with you and he wants to be a part of your life in good times and bad.

He doesn’t just want to hear from you when there is trouble and the rest of the time you keep him on silent lock down by ignoring him.

He wants to bring the word of God to your remembrance when you feel that you’ve got it handled yourself.

He wants to help you when you think that you don’t need it.

The Spirit of God wants to be present and actively participating in every aspect of your life.

The leading of the Spirit of God, is part of what you should be seeing as a SON or daughter of God.

He is there for the Child of God, he bares the believer up and helps him.

Since God has promised that he’ll do it and provide provision by his presence, if you know that you are a child of God, but this is missing in your life, simply inventory yourself with prayer, fasting and confession if need be. Find out what it is that had caused a disruption in the signal, get rid of it and get tuned back in.

The HOLY SPIRIT doesn’t play games with you. It’s his will, to play the part in your life, that fulfils the will of God and that is to evidence our Son-ship by his leading and guiding your life.

The Spirit leads the believer by…

  1. Guiding him into the path of truth and righteousness.

John 16:13 (NKJV)
13  However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Psalm 23:3 (NKJV)
3  He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.

Psalm 143:10 (NIV)
10  Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Isaiah 30:21 (NLT)
21  Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.

In the first point of the sermon, I shared with you that there are several ideas that are used in the Greek language for the word “A-GO” which is related to the concept of being led or to lead.

In point number one we talked about the concept of being carried along through the trials of life; here in this second point we want to develop our thoughts on the basis of the concept of the believer being guided along the way.

The Spirit leads number one by carrying and walking along side you and he leads number two by guiding the believer along the way.

Now in this second point I want you to embrace a visual picture if you please, of the Holy Spirit leading a person by moving along in advance of where the believer is going.

Picture it in your minds. You are walking down the path and the Spirit of God is up ahead of you, in advance of where you are going.

He is with you, he is carrying you along step by step, but HE is also going ahead of where you are at, to make sure you are on the right path.

John recorded what Jesus said and we read this just a moment ago, that the SPIRIT will guide you into all truth, he will let you know what he has heard and that he will tell you of things to come.

Now wait a minute, this is deep.

The Spirit leads the believer, by running up ahead, by looking into time and space and then coming back to lead you based on the information he has.

As a SON of God, you are being led by the Spirit of God, who is making sure that you have additional information and resources in this life, that are far and above the resources and insights and knowledge that is available to those who are NOT in the family of God.

He leads the child of God, in the path of righteousness says the 23rd Psalm, for HIS name’s sake.

Thought:

Now this is where we need to pivot for a moment and break this thing down on a day-to-day practical level.

The Spirit of God, who is resident in you has as his overriding marching orders if I can use that phraseology…..to make sure that you as a child of God, STAY on the right path.

This would be one of the HOLY Spirit’s main assignments in the life of a believer and the child of God should see this purpose and plan being manifested in his or her life.

The Psalmist said “Teach me to do thy will for you are my God. May your good Spirit lead me on level ground”.

Thought:

The Spirit of God leads the believer and helps the believer by working in your life to make sure, that you are staying on level ground.

He’ll talk to you in your ear, if you are willing to listen, because he recognizes that we are heading down a path or might possibly make a choice that would lead us into something that will become a problem for us, in the future.

Remember now, the SPIRIT sees and knows things that you don’t know.

Watch this now and you can decide weather or not to want to accept it or not; my job, my assignment is to just get you thinking about this.

The Spirit of God, knows what is down the road in your life and what is going on in the future and it is his assignment, to keep you on the right path, because now that you are in the family of God, God’s name is on the line, so the path of your life is no longer just about you, but it is also about God and his name.

He leads me in the path of righteousness, for HIS name’s sake, because I am his child and his SON.

He’s looking out for the child of God, by blazing ahead of you.

He knows what relationships are right and WRONG for you because he is the Spirit of God and he knows what is down the road, five years hence.

Thought:

Many times God speaks and communicates to and with us, through as a sermon.

Sometimes the Spirit speaks something that feel like conviction; and that can be received as chastisement, when the intervention occurs after you got off track, or it can come as a kind of unease and discomfort, that you feel from the Spirit himself, who is warning you because of what he sees in advance.

Where are you getting all of this from Preacher, well I’m looking back to John chapter 16:13 and the promises of Christ himself.

Jesus had promised the Holy Spirit as a gift and in speaking of the HOLY Spirit, he said and HE, that is the SPIRIT of truth will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Child of God is this happening in your life on any level?

It should be happening, if you are being LED by the Spirit as a SON or daughter of God.

The Spirit of God as he is leading you, ought to be interfering with your life and decisions at least some of the time.

You may have thought, that the little voice in your head was just a bother to you, but it’s evidence of your son-ship.

His name is on the line, because you are connected to HIM.

Thought:

When we were kids my mother would tell us, you better behave and I best not see you running up and down in this store….I will wear you out, because you are MY SON.

The Spirit of God is leading you and guiding you to make sure you stay on the right path for HIS name’s sake because you are a SON.

You are led by the Spirit, or I can say you ought to be being led by the Spirit, who evidences your son ship by interfering with your plans sometimes.

Third and finally…

The Spirit leads the believer by…

  1. Directing him or her on a God ordained course in life, which leads to a determined end.

Psalm 73:24 (NKJV)
24  You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory.

Romans 8:30 (NLT)
30  And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.

John 17:22 (KJV)
22  And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

John 14:2b-3 (KJV)
2b  I go to prepare a place for you.
3  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

For our third and final point, we once again return to the basic foundational approach upon which we have built these thoughts, that being the Greek word “A-GO and the concept of being led or to lead.

In point number one we talked about the concept of being carried along through the trials of life; in point number two we developed our thoughts on the basis of the concept of the believer being guided along the way. Here we are looking at the concept of the Spirit’s leading, by directing the believer’s life towards a determined end point.

The Spirit leads the believer and becomes involved in the life of a believer by working everything toward one ultimate goal and that goal is that you will spend eternity with Christ Jesus, as God’s treasured possessions in heaven forever.

This is ultimately reason why the Spirit is so intent on being involved in every aspect of your life.

There is an end-game in mind.

There is an anticipated time of joy in life eternal.

The Spirit is already there. The Spirit has already seen the joy of that day, when time and space will be folded into an eternity that knows no end.

He’s already there. He already sees you in the beauty of that glory and unity, being ONE in God, experiencing HIM in his glory.

Thought:

My friend you need to understand that the Spirit isn’t going to let anything or anyone get in the way of you coming into the reality of your pre-destined end.

He knows the end game, so he’s working in your life towards a heavenly goal.

He knows the end game so he’s directing you in ways that may not make sense as you experience it in real time today, but you’ll see it in the end.

After you are up there in heaven it will all become clear.

After you are received into glory you’ll be able to look back and see, OH…that is what the Spirit was doing, I get it now.

After you’ve come up and taken your place among the saved and forgiven and you stand before him clothed in white and shining in the glory of the Father, you’ll get it.

After, you’ve taken in those first precious moments, when all heaven is praising and exalting God and the sound of the most incredible praise and worship is reverberating from the holy Choir of Angles, you’ll get what he was doing.

He was working to bring you into the reality of this blessed end.

He was navigating the course of your life.

He was following the master plan so that you might be with him who has prepared a place in heaven for you.

He was making sure that no relationship was going to get in the way of the master’s plan.

He was working with as the agent of the Son, That you might be ONE with the FATHER and the SON and THE SPIRIT forever.

He was leading and guiding you my beloved BECAUSE you are a SON.

Come on and GIVE the LORD some Holy Ghost Praise….

AMEN.
